The SIP 10″ Vari-Speed Swivel-head Metal Bandsaw is a powerful and accurate auto-cutting and sawing machine that’s ideal for cutting bar, tube and profile workpieces in a range of metal types. This includes mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass and alloys. SIP Metal-Cutting Bandsaws are highly efficient, easy-to-use and safely cut metal to a high standard, helping to avoid use of manual cutting operations. They are an essential machine for metalworking and engineering workshops. Additional feature of this cutting machine include: High-torque, variable-speed inverter motor control. Easy-to-control via a single dial, the speed can be adjusted to quickly optimise for a variety of materials and thicknesses. A digital display indicates cutting speed. The inverter control is fan-cooled for continuous use and longer life. Direct drive motor gearbox. The gearbox transmission system delivers positive and precise cutting, eliminating the need for belt alignment or adjustment. Heavy-duty cast iron swivel bow head. Fitted to the bow is a coolant system that extends blade-life and cools the cutting area. The swivel head action allows cutting between 0° and 60° without moving the workpiece from the vice. Fitted to a pressed steel base, this weighted machine provides a rigid cutting platform, helping reduce vibration and increase cutting accuracy.
