An extremely versatile, combined workstation tool with a gooseneck magnifier lamp and 16 LEDs for maximum lighting of the work area. The tool has three 'helping hands': two rigid and one flexible for securely supporting the work-piece at any angle.

Our more recent purchases have found that the PSUs supplied are now proper UK 3 pin plug-in supplies and the holder can be mounted on the other side as asked by steve.

My previous review complained about the 2 pin PSU, this seems to have been replaced by a 3 pin plug-in PSU that doesn't require an adapter so now OK from our H&S point of view.
Also another dave asked if the iron holder can be switched to the left hand side, and despite the reply of No, it CAN do this. It just uses a M5 threaded hole for the holder and 3rd hand so can be swapped or anything else added.

Does a really great job, best 3rd hand I have tried. Well made good quality product and I would recommend to anyone that needs that extra hand when doing electronic/electrical work, although I am sure it is not just limited to just these jobs. Good clear lighting and magnifier.

This really does hold a circuit board and soldering iron without falling over in use, unlike some of the cheaper options we've tried. pity the PSU is a 2 pin which plugs into a 3 pin adapter, which our H&S won't allow.
