The Makita DCS552Z is a Cordless Metal Cutter powered by an 18V Li-ion battery (Not provided). The DCS552Z is designed for ease of use, with a compact and lightweight design as well as a conveniently located shaft and lock for easy blade replacement. Other handy features include a large view window, which allows for easy cutting along the cut line, and a built-in dust collection system. The DCS552Z also offers easy disposal, metal chip/dust can be thrown away by simply opening the cap of the dust box.
Safety is also paramount so the DCS552Z comes with an electric brake and a lock-off lever which helps prevent accidental starts.
The device is built with a stainless steel base plate and flat motor housing end.
