The saw took me 2 hours to set up, after setting up it worked very well, it cuts spot on and true, well built saw for the money I paid, thank you just right for me.

For the price it’s a good little machine for the DIY enthusiast but does lack an important feature - in my opinion- and that is a mitre bar. I have rigged one up by attaching a ‘t’ slot bar to the edge of the table but it’s far from perfect. I recommend this product but being mindful of its shortcomings

The bandsaw was easy to assemble. Some nuts were missing but had some in workshop works well good value for money

A very capable machine for its size and power. Perfect for my small workshop setup. A bit difficult closing the safety switches to get power supply to the motor. Other than that, very good.

Good value for money. It has only been used for light work at the moment which it does very well. Only slight problem is setting the blade to run in the middle of the “ pulley” Once set though it is good

For the money I don't think you can beat this saw not had it that long but used it a few times and it seems to do the job well. and great service from Tooled up ordered it about 3 pm one day and it turned up the next.

Q : Why can’t I add Ozito bsw-2581U to my basket
A : Hi Ray, this machine was on offer but we've now sold out of all the stock we had - unfortunately this was a "while stocks last" offer which explains why it won't let you buy any more at that price. You should hopefully be able to order one again in the near future but it looks like we'll have to wait to see how much stock is available and what we'll be able to sell them for if we're able to get another batch in.

Q : does it cut steel thanks
A : Hi Keith, the Ozito BSW-2581U is a 250W machine which is primarily designed for wood and wouldn't be suitable for cutting steel.
Q : Is the band saw blade a standard, can you purchase replacements?
A : Hi Keith, the Ozito BSW-2581U takes 1400mm blades which can be up to 8mm wide. These are fairly easy to find, for example we stock some Sealey blades which would be suitable on product code 21005185
Q : I need to know the |W D H PLEASE
A : Hi Graham, unfortunately we don't currently have any of these on display, so wouldn't be able to work this out without unpacking one and assembling it - however, the packaging dimensions are 420mm x 285mm x 720mm so this should hopefully give you a rough idea of how much room it takes up
Q : Is there a mitre guide facility on this?
A : Hi Ted, there isn't, assuming you mean a mitre gauge which enables you to set the angle of a workpiece before running it through the blade. There is a protractor below the table which enables you to position it accurately when tilting the table for bevel cuts though.
