Q : Can I upgrade a 3/8 drill into a 13 mm drill by changing just the chuck
A : Hi Henry, well as long as the thread is compatible you can attach any chuck you like, but it's probably not a good idea to try and install a bigger and heavier component onto an electric drill that wasn't designed for it and you would generally want to swap a chuck out for a model with the same specifications.
