bought this to sand down furniture that I can then restain, so far does the job very well, and very little dust mess!

Service from tooled-up as usual very good however this product has issues, it's a powerfull sander and can fill a room with dust in seconds due to the fact that the dust collector is useless. If you use the sander vertically like on a door the dust bag falls off. No vacuum attachment possible. Allen key to change the foot pad also continually vibrates off its storage clip. Orbital sander (round) foot doesn't have enough velcro on so the sheets detach too quickly. Wish I had done more research - not great value but ok for outside jobs, noise level is also high end so if you want to annoy your neighbours with noise and dust buy one of these.

I'm a little unsure how to review this product. I bought it for the finger sanding attachment to work on some tricky stair banister woodwork. After using it for well under an hour, the attachment is now completely useless. The pad has worn and the plastic in the attachment seems to have melted such that it is impossible to fix the attachment securely without it wobbling. I tried to find out how to get spares from Black and Decker. They promised, helpfully, to send two spares. Unfortunately, it would appear that the diagram online is wrongly labelled because the part I received had the correct part number from the diagram but were not the part I needed nor anything like it. I was given the number of an alternative source of B&D spare parts and, after a long and apparently very helpful phone conversation with them I hope that I am getting more of the correct spare parts. Whether they will fit now and whether they will last long enough to complete the job still seems very much in question. If it's the finger attachment you are looking to use, I would seriously consider looking elsewhere.

Q : do you sell the sanding pads for the black and decker b e w 200 4 in 1 multi sander
A : If you mean the actual solid pads that are screwed onto the machine these don't appear to be available as a standard retail line and I assume you would have to go through Black & Decker to obtain these as spare parts. If you mean the sanding sheets however we do stock these and you can see compatible products listed in the "Accessories.." section of the product page.
Q : Do you stock replacement finger plate sand paper for this black and decker sander? Many thanks for your help
A : Hi Rona, I'm afraid this is not a part we currently stock but if you contact Black & Decker via their UK website they should be able to assist further
Q : Does this sander come with any sandpaper sheets and also who supply's the sand paper sheets thank you
A : Hi Pat, this machine does include four sheets in the box. When it comes to replacing them, it will take standard 125mm sanding discs like the Black & Decker ones on our website (20994600) or it will take suitable delta sanding sheets - the official ones Black & Decker recommend are the X314 series of Multi Sander sheets (X31432 – X3146). We don;t have these loaded at the moment but I'm looking into getting them listed so hopefully they'll be on the website in the near future.
Q : Hi I was just wondering if this came with the case or not, As I noticed it doesn't seem to have mentioned it?
A : Hi Ishmael, this tool is packaged in a cardboard carton and does not come with a case
