The C R Clarke type 25 injection moulding machine produces dense, production quality mouldings up to 25g. It is also ideal for demonstrating the principles of injection moulding techniques.
A female mould (in two or more pieces) is manufactured from heat-proof material. Granulated plastic is heated to its molten state, then pressed (injected) into the mould. After cooling, the mould is taken apart and the plastic component is removed.
